Yvonne Schweizer

Yvonne Schweitzer of New City, New York, formerly of Pearl River, New York, passed away suddenly on December 15, 2025. She was 60 years old.

Yvonne was born on February 22, 1965, in Suffern, New York, to Leonard and Georgia Shealy Schweitzer. She was educated in the Pearl River school system and graduated from Pearl River High School in 1982.

Locally, Yvonne was the owner of Beauty Secrets in Pearl River, where she was known not only for her talent but for her creativity and artistry as a manicurist. She took great pride in her work and formed lasting friendships with many of her clients.

Yvonne was a truly artistic soul. She enjoyed painting, riding motorcycles, and living life with independence and passion. She was a loyal and caring friend, known for her generosity and her willingness to help others. Her kindness, warm spirit, and generous personality left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by many.

She is survived by her beloved mother, Georgia Schweitzer, and her sister, Victoria Schweitzer. She was predeceased by her brother, Eric Schweitzer, and her father, Leonard “Lenny” Schweitzer.

Visitation will be held at Wyman Fisher Funeral Home, Pearl River, New York, on Saturday, December 20, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 4:30 p.m.
