Obituary
William Lum of Pearl River, NY, was a long-time resident of Rockland County, passed away on July 3, 2023. He was 95.
Mr. Lum worked as a piping designer for various companies in New York. William served in the United States Marine Corps from 1946-1948. On May 16, 1954 he married Grace in the Bronx, NY.
William will be remembered for his love for his family and his constant thoughtfulness regarding caring for his wife Grace.
He is survived by his wife Grace, his sons Kenneth Lum, Jeffrey Lum (Andrea Lum), James Lum, Russell Lum (Joy Lum), and three grandchildren Christopher Lum, Alexandra Lum, and Laura Lum. In addition, he is survived by his brother John Lam and numerous extended family members.
Mr. Lum is predeceased by his oldest son, William Lum Jr., who died in the Twin Towers in September 11, 2001 as well as his brothers George Lum and Sam Lum.
Visiting will be Saturday July 8, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. A prayer service will be 10:30 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rockland Cemetery Sparkill, NY.
