Vincent Trojan of Park Ridge, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026. He was 102 years old.
Vince devoted 41 years of his career to Cropsey Farm Market in New City, New York, where he served as manager until his retirement in 1998. He became a familiar and well-respected figure in the community, known for his hard work.
Born on April 1, 1924, in Manhattan, New York, Vincent was the son of Augustus and Jennie Meester Trojan. He was raised in Nyack, New York, where he attended local schools and graduated from Nyack High School in 1943.
Answering the call to serve his country, Vincent proudly enlisted in the United States Army, serving from 1944 to 1945 during World War II.
In 1951, Vincent made his home in Pearl River, New York, before settling in Park Ridge, New Jersey, in 1957, where he remained for nearly seven decades. An active member of the community, he belonged to the First Congregational Church of Park Ridge.
He was predeceased by his devoted wife of 60 years Jane Trojan, and survived by his loving children: Charles Trojan and his wife, Carolyn; Susan L. Bullis; Vincent Trojan and his wife, Maureen; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
