Vincent Considine of Pearl River, NY passed away in the company of his children on November 6, 2021, at Hackensack University Medical Hospital in Hackensack, New Jersey. He was 79 years of age.
Mr. Considine was born on July 17, 1942 in Cranny, Co. Clare Ireland to John Considine and Susan MacNamara. He moved to the United States at 18 years old where he served the country, training as a paratrooper, and serving in active duty in the Vietnam War. Vincent earned medals for good conduct and sharp shooting. He was honorably discharged from military service in 1970.
Mr. Considine lived in the Bronx where he was the sole proprietor of the Bailey Avenue Pub, and was employed as a service engineer for AT&T for 35 years. He moved with his wife, Carmel and six children to Pearl River NY in 1989. He will forever be known for his quick wit, fine singing voice and larger than life personality. He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Kelly; his children, Caroline Considine, Michelle Considine, Susan Fletcher, Vincent Considine, Christopher Considine, and Elizabeth Considine; and his grandchildren, Chase and Addison Fletcher. His passing is preceded by his wife, Carmel Considine and his brothers, Patrick Considine, John Considine, Michael Considine, Thomas Considine, and Eugene Considine.
A Mass of Christian burial is 10 AM Wednesday at St. Aedan R. C. Church, Pearl River. Interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Nanuet, NY. Visiting is Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
