Thomas F Muthig

It is with deep sadness and great sorrow that we announce the passing of Thomas Francis Muthig, age 27, of Pearl River, New York.
 

Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Tom and his parents returned to Pearl River in 1997.  A graduate of Pearl River High School’s Class of 2013, he earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science from Binghamton University and was pursuing his Master’s in Education at St. Thomas Aquinas College at the time of his passing.

Some of Tom’s greatest joys were sports, especially football, acting and electronics.  None more, though, than pleasing his family and friends.  His kind nature and gregarious personality was contagious; he greatly enjoyed bringing laughter to people.  Tom, in turn, was loved by all who knew him.

Tom is survived by his mother Monica, father Thomas, brother Sean, grandmother Maureen Cox, a long-time resident of Pearl River, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as his faithful dog Callie.  He is predeceased by his grandfather Thomas Cox.

Visiting services will be held at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home in Pearl River on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM.  A Roman Catholic funeral mass will be held at St. Margaret’s Church on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
