He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964, attaining the rank of Private First Class. Following his military service, Tom worked as a maintenance supervisor for Orange and Rockland Utilities, where he dedicated many years before retiring in 2001.
A devoted husband, father, and friend, Tom was deeply involved in his children’s lives. He coached their hockey, soccer, and Little League baseball teams and was active in the Cub Scouts. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, warm smile, and the love he shared with his family and friends. They also cherished time spent along the Erie Canal on his boat, their winters as snowbirds in Naples, Florida , and summers at the Jersey Shore. The two shared a love of music and often attended concerts by Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, and many others.
Tom will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and deep love for his family. His legacy of laughter, loyalty, and love will continue to live on in all who knew him.
