Sharon K Gorzka

Sharon K. Gorzka of Pearl River, loving wife, sister, mother, aunt, and godmother, died Thursday, January 19th at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was 64 years old.

Sharon worked as a Senior Group Assistant Manager for Verizon in Parsippany, NJ.  She was with the company her entire career.

Sharon was born in 1958 in Englewood, NJ to Bernard and Anne Kingston.

She graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1980 and later earned a Master’s degree in Business. 

She lived in Pearl River over 30 years. Locally, she was an active member in the Catholic church. She was assistant director at Nyack Senior Center, and she also volunteered with Meals on Wheels.

Sharon will be remembered for her kind heart, ready smile, joyful spirit, and selflessness. She is survived by her loving family. She will be dearly missed.

The funeral is Tuesday at 10am at St. Aedan’s Church, 23 Reld Drive, Pearl River, NY, 10965
