Rose Fortino

On September 28, 2019 God had summoned one of his angels to come home as her job on earth is now done.  Our angel now looks over her husband Vincent John Fortino, her children Marie Elana Lawler (Kevin Lawler deceased), Domenic Fortino and wife Diana. Grandchildren James Lawler and his wife Kara, Michael Lawler and his wife Doina, Vincent Fortino and Domenic Jr. Fortino.  Her beloved Great grand children Gia, Domenic and Viviana.

Rose “GiGi” was a Pearl River resident for 55 years.  During her time on earth she will always be remembered for her loving smile, sewing, cooking and true love for everyone she came in contact with.  Her biggest joy was seeing her grandchildren grow up and find the perfect partners to share the gift of life with.

As the good Lord has taken her in body, she will always be in our thoughts and heart in spirit.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. 

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM  Wednesday at Church of the Presentation, Upper Saddle River, NJ. Burial will follow at Cemetery of the  Ascension, Airmont,. NY.  Visiting is Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
