Robert “Bobby” Ray Obituary

Robert “Bobby” William Ray Jr passed away on September 23, 2022, at home. He was 79 years old. Bobby was born in Teaneck on July 31,1943 and resided in Old Tappan for many years. He was the oldest of three children and proudly served in the United States Air Force.
Bobby was known as the “King of One-Liners”; he was always ready with a joke and told them with a straight face. He will be remembered for his generosity, his love for dogs, his dedication to his job (Bobby worked at Chromalloy for over 30 years), and his sense of humor.
He is predeceased by his parents, Robert Ray Sr. and Elizabeth (Hennessy) Ray, and his brother Clark Thomas. He is survived by his brother, Wayne Ray, and his children, Troy Hamburg and Amber Juelsgaard, as well as several grandchildren. He also had “adoptive” daughters Kirsten Perfilio and Britt Young. He will be sorely missed by all.
A memorial in celebration of his life will be held at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home, 100 Franklin Ave, Pearl River, NY, from 2-5 pm on October 15th. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Fisher House™ Foundation, Inc. 12300 Twinbrook Pkwy Suite 410 Rockville, MD 20852 https://fisherhouse.org/
