Robert J. Zeller (8/25/1929 – 7/2/2024)

Robert (Bob) was born August 25, 1929 to Bernard and Jeanette Zeller. He was raised in Hell’s Kitchen in New York City. He joined the United States Marines in 1948 and served until 1952 as a butcher during the Korean War. Bob married his sweetheart Laura and they had 2 children Robert Jr. and Thomas. Bob worked as a butcher in stores throughout Rockland County until he retired in 2000. Bob was a Scout Master for Troop 199 at the Moscarillo Post. He was a member of the Fred Eller Post 1447 for many years. Bob was predeceased by his parent Bernard and Jeanette, a brother Danny and a sister Eva. He is survived by his sons Robert Jr (Joan), Thomas and grandchildren Timothy (Lauren) and Sean, one great grandchild Colin.

Viewing will be held at the Wyman & Fisher Funeral Home at 100 Franklin Ave. Pearl River, NY on Sunday, July 7 and Monday, July 8 from 3:00pm – 5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 9 at 10:00am at St. Margaret’s Church at 115 W. Central Ave. Pearl River, NY. Burial will be at The Ascension Cemetery at 650 Saddle River Rd. Monsey, NY.
