Robert W. Ulrich, lovingly known as Bob, passed away on February 8, 2026, in Pearl River, New York. He was born on March 9, 1934, in New York City.
Bob lived a long, full life guided by the core values that mattered most to him: faith, family, and friends. He was the beloved husband of 69 years to Eileen Ulrich, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, devotion, and partnership.
Bob is survived by his five children: Ellen Fennell (Dennis), Maureen Connolly (Joe), Bob Ulrich (Cindy), Tom Ulrich (Debby), and Dan Ulrich (Kate). He was a proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren who lovingly called him Pop, and a cherished great-grandfather to 10 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy and pride.
Bob truly loved life. He had a lifelong passion for sports, faithfully cheering for the New York Giants, New York Mets, Brooklyn Dodgers, and New York Rangers. Just as important to him were the countless CYO and high school teams his children and grandchildren played on—Bob rarely missed a game. He also had a keen interest in business and politics and enjoyed spirited conversations on both.
Bob dedicated 39 years of his professional life to Texaco, beginning his career as an entry-level accountant and rising through hard work and integrity to become Treasurer of the company. His career was a source of great pride, reflecting his discipline, intellect, and commitment.
