Robert Neyen

Robert J. Neyen, resident of Pearl River, NY, since 1967 died of natural causes on Friday, July 31, 2026 at home. He was 90 years old. Mr. Neyen worked for the town of Orangetown, tended bar and umpired and refereed in Rockland County for over 30 years. He was a member of the Pearl River Elks Club. He was born on July 23, 1936 in Manhattan to Harry and Gert Neyen. He served in the Army and was a member of the American Legion in Pearl River. He was married to Evelyn for 68 years. Mr. Neyen will be remembered for his love of sports and coaching. He is survived by three children, eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, his brother Jim and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Martin Neyen, age 50.
