Páraic G Charles

Páraic G. Charles, of Blauvelt, New York, passed away on February 4, 2026. He was 57 years old.

 Páraic worked as a construction superintendent for Accord Services in Manhattan, New York. Born on February 27, 1968, in Ireland, he was the son of the late Eugene and Noreen (Cooney) Charles.

Páraic will be remembered as a devoted father, a loving brother, and a hardworking and loyal friend. He had a special bond with his nieces and nephews, regularly checking in with a text or a word of encouragement just to let them know he was thinking of them. His genuine affection for children was evident to all who knew him—he truly loved them deeply.  Above all else, Páraic adored his children. Being a father was the greatest joy of his life, and he loved his sons with his whole heart. Everything he did was rooted in love for them, and they were the center of his world.

A passionate football fan, Páraic was a devoted and famously enthusiastic supporter of Liverpool Football Club, following his beloved team with great pride and much enthusiasm. He also maintained close ties with his lifelong friends in Ireland, staying in constant touch throughout the years.

He is survived by his wonderful partner of 15 years, Denise; his sons, Gabriel, Sid, and Ben; his brothers, Augustine, Oliver, Aidan, Gregory, Paul, Enda, Stephen, and Eugene; and his sisters, Mary, Margaret, Eva, Antoinette, Noreen, and Finola. Paraic also had a deep love and affection for Denise's parents, Paul and Fran, Denise's sister, Abby and her husband, Asi, and their children, Eli, Roz, and Gari.  Additionally, he is also survived by his many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and his dear lifelong friends from Ireland and here in the US.  

He is predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Noreen Charles, and his brother, Noel.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 9, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Margaret’s Church, followed by interment at Rockland Cemetery.
