Phil Phillips

Phil Phillips a long-time resident of Chestnut Ridge, NY passed away on March 29, 2020. He was 75. 

Mr. Phillips worked as a diesel mechanic for Petroleum Heat and Power in Stanford, CT.  He was with the company for 30 years before retiring in 2001.  He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 191. 

Phil was born July 9, 1944 in Limassol, Cyprus to Costa and Helen Kyiacou Phillips. 

Mr. Phillips lived in Chestnut Ridge for the past 30 years.  Before that he lived in West Nyack, NY from 1972 to 1989 and in Astoria, NY from 1951 to 1972. 

He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the National Hot Rod Association. 

He is survived his wife Mary Lou; his daughters, Debra (Steven), Stephanie (Jermaine) and Melissa; his sister, Anna, grandchildren, Eric, Rachel, Marcus and Adonis. 

He is predeceased by his mother (2005), father (1960) , brother, Luke (2001), brother in law, Pete (2006).

Friends may send memorial donations to St. Jude Children Research Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children.
