Peter Kalin

Peter Scott Kalin of Croton on Hudson, NY formerly of Pearl River, NY, passed away October 12, 2022.  He was 58. 

Mr. Kalin worked as an Insurance Underwriter for The Hartford in Manhattan.   Peter was born June 11, 1964 in Brooklyn, NY to Peter J. and Barbara Kalin. 

He was educated in Pearl River, NY and graduated Pearl River High School in 1982.  He earned a Bachelors and Masters Degree in English from Fordham University. 

He was the beloved husband to Susan, loving father, to Chandler and brother, to John, Robert and Jennifer.  He is also survived by his nephews, Jack, Conor, Sean and his niece Katherine.  He is predeceased by his father, Peter J. (2015) and his mother, Barbara (2013). 

Visiting will be Tuesday October 18, 2022 from 6 to 9 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.  100 Franklin Ave. Pearl River, NY 10965.  A prayer service will be held 10 AM Wednesday October 19, 2022 at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery Hastings on Hudson, NY.
