Pauline Tedesco

Pauline R. Tedesco of Nanuet, New York, a longtime resident of Rockland County and formerly of the Bronx, passed away on May 16, 2026, at the age of 90, after truly living her best life.

Pauline worked for many years as “the best cashier” at Pathmark in Monsey, NY, where she became a familiar to so many. She was born on August 11, 1935, in New York City to Peter and Anna Pepe. Educated in the Bronx, Pauline was a proud graduate of the “School of Life.”

She was known for not hearing you on the first try but delivered with a belly laugh that made repeating it worth while.  She made a point to say your middle name to drive a point home.  Speaking of driving, she was really good at those right turns.  She pretended to not know the rules to every game then would proceed to beat everyone in the room.  Presumably picking up tactics from the game show network.  Unfortunately everyone will have a gap in their life due to the absence of Pauline, however we are comforted by the ones who have long awaited to see her again. 

Pauline is survived by her loving children, Louis Tedesco, Debra and her husband Glenn, and Dawn and her husband Jay; her cherished grandchildren, Toniann, Annalise, Ashley, and Joseph. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Louis Tedesco, and her grandson Louis J. Tedesco.  

Visiting will ne held on Wednesday, May 20, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.  A prayer service will be held 10:45am  Thursday at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers friends may send memorial donations to the American Cancer Society.
