Patrick Frawley Obituary

Patrick Frawley of Pearl River, NY, passed away on September 26, 2024. He was 81. 

Mr. Frawley worked as a Homicide Detective for the 24th Precinct in New York City.  He was with the New York City Police Dept. for 25 years before retiring in 1995. 

Patrick was born March 21, 1943 in CO. Clare Ireland to James and Mary Frawley.

Mr. Frawley served in the United States Army from 1963 to 1971 attaining the rank of Drill Sergeant.   He was a member of the John H. Secor American Legion Post 329 in Pearl River, NY. 

On June 8, 1968 he married Alice at St. John’s R.C. Church in Bronx, NY.

Mr. Frawley lived in Pearl River for the past 41 years.  Before that he lived in Bronx, NY, from 1969 to 1983. 

Patrick will be remembered for being a loving father and husband. 

He is survived by his wife, Alice, children, Patrick (Katie), Christopher (Satig), Michelle (Earnon) and his three grandchildren Lorna, Liam and Thomas.  He also leaves behind his sisters, Tilly Burke (Austin), Mary McCarthy (Teddy)and his brother Michael Frawley (Eileen).

He is predeceased by his mother Mary, father James, sister Irene, brothers Brendan, Johnny, and Jimmy.

Visiting will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home 100 Franklin Ave. Pearl River, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Wednesday October 2, 2024 at St. Aedan R.C. Church 23 Reld Drive Pearl River, NY. Burial will follow at Ascension Cemetery Airmont, NY. 

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Patrick’s name to American Heart Association or Diabetes Foundation.
