Patrick J. Doyle

Patrick John Doyle of Pearl River, NY passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on Saturday, March 13, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.  Son of Patricia and Patrick Doyle, he grew up in Inwood, attended Good Shepherd Grammar School and La Salle Academy High School.  As a teenager, he met Mary Kennedy, the love of his life at a Good Shepherd Dance.  They married at Good Shepherd Church on May 21, 1960.
Pat obtained a BA in Accounting from Manhattan College (1957) and began his business career with General Foods/Kraft Heinz. Known for an uncanny ability to combine hard, honest work and fun, he rose to regional sales manager before retirement.  
A long-time resident of Pearl River, Pat helped organize neighborhood-wide Block parties, Easter egg hunts, and Christmas events.  He and his family enjoyed summer vacations at Lake George and Long Beach Island, and Christmases at Killington Vermont.  
Pat is known by all for his fun-loving personality.  A generous man, he welcomed many friends into his Pearl River home and his Pocono vacation home where he enjoyed captaining his pontoon boat around Lake Wallenpaupack.  An outdoorsman and athlete, Pat enjoyed travels around the globe along with hunting, fishing, golf, tennis, and skiing.   He supported his children and grandchildren in their countless activities.
Pat was proud of his Irish heritage and had a love of God, country, and family.   He is survived by his beloved wife Mary (Kennedy), and daughters Susan (Bill) Buchan, Joyce (Holt) Sanders, and grandchildren Jimmy, Ryan, Holty, and Kelly.  He will be missed by all.   
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday at St. Margaret R. C. Church, Pearl River.  Visiting is Tuesday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
