Patricia W. Burbage

Patricia Winn Burbage of Pearl River, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 10th, 2021.  Patricia was born in Somerville, MA, on August 6, 1932.  She had just celebrated her 89th birthday.  She was a graduate of Somerville High School, and continued her education at the Faulkner Hospital in Boston, where she earned her R.N.  Patricia worked as an OR nurse at the Faulkner, until marrying Edward A. Burbage in 1959 and moving to New York.  She then continued her nursing career at the Pearl River School District for several decades.  She is survived by her two sons Stephen W. Burbage and his wife Susan C. Burbage of Boston, and son Edward J. (Ted) Burbage and wife Jeanne M. Burbage of Bronxville, NY.  She was an adored grandmother to Catie, Cole, Liam, Brendan, and Kyle Burbage.  She was an admired sister to her surviving brother Joseph F. Winn (Catherine) of Marshfield, MA, and her sisters-in-law Rosaleen Burbage, Sister Joan Burbage SC, Elizabeth Burbage, and Maureen Burbage.  Along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

Patricia is predeceased by her devoted husband of 50 years, Edward A. Burbage, and her dearly loved sisters Marilyn Moran (Charles), Judith Winn Vaughn, and brother Robert Winn.   Her brothers and sisters-in-law:  Kevin Burbage (Josephine), Catherine Kazel (Vincent), Margaret O’Malley (Denis), and James Burbage

Her optimistic spirit will live on within all of us.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Tuesday at St. Aedan R. C. Church, Pearl River.  Burial will follow at Cemetery of the Ascension, Airmont, NY.  Visiting is Monday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
