Noel Keahon Obituary

  Noel Keahon of Nanuet, a longtime resident, died of heart failure on Tuesday July 29, 2025 at the Joe Rasso Hospice Residence in New City, New York. He was 90 yrs. old.

 

    Mr. Keahon had a long fulfilling career as a Truck Driver. He was a proud member of Teamsters Local 445. He was with the Union for 44 years before retiring in 1999. After retiring he enjoyed towing cars for his cousin Bob Keahon at Keahon Auto Wreckers in Haverstraw, New York.

 

   Mr. Keahon was born on December 28, 1934 in Nyack, New York to John and Gertrude (Conklin) Keahon.

 

   Mr. Keahon served in the Army National Guard from 1954 to 1960 attaining the rank of Sergeant.

 

    Mr. Keahon married the love of his life, Catherine on February 2, 1957 and lived in Nanuet for the past 68 years where he raised his family.  Before that, he grew up in Pearl River, New York.

 

He is survived by his daughters, Kathleen (Daniel) Sutherland of Stephentown, NY and Delores (Steve) Pagels of Suffern, NY. His Grandchildren, Jessica (Jose) Santiago of Stony Point, NY, Alexandra Sutherland (Hunter Boyd) of Latham, NY and Steven Pagels, Jr. of Suffern, NY. Great Grandchildren, Cody Sampson and Camilo Santiago of Stony Point, NY.

  He is also survived by a loving extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins as well as many cherished friends. He especially enjoyed and found great contentment with spending time with his grandchildren. He had a kind heart for his his beloved pets and appreciated life's simple pleasures.
