Nicholas Scicutella Obituary

Nicholas A. Scicutella of Monsey, NY, passed away on December 7, 2020. He was 96.
Mr. Scicutella worked as a cement truck driver for Colonial Sand and Stone in New York City.  He was with the company for 30 years before retiring in 1978.
Nicholas was born November 7, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY to Vincenzo and Giovanna Santoro Scicutella.
Mr. Scicutella served his in the United States Army from 1945-1946 attaining the rank of Private First Class.  
On October 20, 1951 he married Carmela at St. Blaise R.C. Church in Brooklyn, NY.  
Mr. Scicutella lived in Monsey, NY for the past 51 years.  Before that he lived in Brooklyn, NY from 1961 to 1969 and in Queens, NY from 1957 to 1961.
Locally, he was a member of St. Boniface Church and Spook Rock Rock Club.  
Nicholas will be remembered for his quick wit, always ready with a joke or rhyme.  His love of all sports, especially golf and the NY Mets.  
He is survived by daughters, Joanne Lafalgio, Grace MacRobbie, sons in law, Vincent Lafalgio and Scott MacRobbie; grandchildren, Tim Ucker, Jenny Richmond, Katie Morrison and Scott MacRobbie; great grandchildren, Gianna Richmond, Renee Richmond, Arianna Ucker and Arizona Morrison.  
He is predeceased by his wife Carmela Scicutella (2018) and daughter Mary Schneider (2015).
