Nancy Jean Keahon originally of New City,NY and a 4 year resident of Pine Valley Nursing Home, passed away peacefully on Feb.28th.
Nancy was born on April 12,1933 to Ann & James Brown of Ogdensburg, NY. Her family moved downstate to Pearl River where she attended Pearl River HS. There she met the love of her life Robert. They have been together 72 years.
Nancy enjoyed being a homemaker for her family. She loved to garden and take care of her many birds and the wildlife that would always find their way into her backyard. She was famous for her “best” chocolate chip cookies.
She went on to college in the 80’s and finished her LPN and worked at Nyack Hospital for several years. She was a great supporter of St. Jude Hospital.
Nancy loved being with the family and enjoyed a good joke, always laughing. She will be deeply missed by her family.
She is survived by her husband Robert Keahon, daughter Patricia (Tom), son Robert (Francine). She was a loving Nana to Robert, Michael (Danielle), Allison (Brett) and Sean (Carly). She was blessed to be a Great Grandmother to Robert, Shane, Khloe, Cameron, Lily, Payton, Riley and Chase.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
