Michael A. “Mike” Marsico of Chestnut Ridge, NY, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025. He was 78 years old.
Mike was born June 12, 1947, to Douglas and Vera (DeLorenzo) Marsico. He grew up in Piermont, NY, and graduated from Tappan Zee High School, where he enjoyed playing football for the school team. He shared a beautiful life with his beloved wife, Sharon. Together, they built a family filled with warmth and joy.
He worked for many years as a supervisor with United Water in Spring Valley. He was a proud member of IBEW and served as a member of the Rockland County Sheriff’s Department Reserve.
Mike loved being outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and had a passion for photography. He was a loving and devoted grandfather; his favorite part of retirement was getting to spend time with his grandchildren and always cheering them on at their baseball, softball and cheer games.
Michael’s absence leaves a void that can never truly be filled, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he loved. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
He is survived by his loving children Lisa and Michael (Michele); and his beloved grandchildren, Anthony and Giuliana, who were the light of his life. He is predeceased by his wife, Sharon, his brother and nephew, Douglas.
