Michael J. Fury

Michael J. Fury died suddenly at home on Saturday, October 16, 2021.  Mike was a native of Pearl River, NY and worked as an attorney there for many years.  Most recently he worked form his home in Nanuet, NY.
On May 1, 2004 he married the love of his life, Donna, and became step dad to her three children, whom he loved dearly.  Mike was Donna’s Knight in Shining Armor. 
He is survived by his wife, Donna; his three stepchildren, JeanMarie Silverman, Christina Cartaya (Michael) and Steven Silverman; along with four adoring grandchildren, Robert and Michael Cartaya, Amelia and Sabrina Silverman.  He is also survived by five siblings, Marianne, Margo, (Jon), Maureen, Mark, Madelyn and his many nieces and nephews.  
He was loved for his easy going nature, his quick wit and trying to make people happy. He was always smiling.  Mike is predeceased by his parents, Michael H. Fury and Marguerite Fury.  
A memorial Mass will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, October, 26, 2021 at St. Margaret R. C. Church, Pearl River.  Visiting is Monday, October 25, 2021 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
