Michael Carpenter Obituary
Michael Carpenter, a devoted father and skilled craftsman, passed away on May 10, 2025, at the age of 59.
Born on June 20, 1965, in Swords, County Dublin, Ireland, Michael was the beloved son of Albert and Teresa Carpenter. In 1989, he emigrated from Ireland to the United States, beginning a new chapter in the Bronx on Bainbridge Avenue. Later, he settled in Yonkers before making Pearl River, New York, his home for the past 18 years.
A talented carpenter, Michael owned and operated MC Flooring in Pearl River. Outside of work, he found joy and freedom on the open road as a proud member of the Celtic Motorcycle Club.
More than anything, Michael treasured time spent with his family. He was a loving father, and his happiest moments were those shared with his children, especially during their vacations together.
Michael is survived by Elaine Carpenter and their two children, Calum and Eden, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his sister, Orla Burke, and her husband, Ronan, as well as his nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of close friends.
Visiting will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on May 14, 2025, at St. Margaret R.C. Church, Pearl River, NY. Michael's Burial will be held at Dardistown Cemetery, Dublin, Ireland.
