Maureen A. McGuire

Maureen A. McGuire a 54-year resident of Pearl River, NY passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019 at The Joe Raso Hospice Residence.  She was 80.

Maureen was educated in the Inwood Section of NY, she graduated from Good Shepherd Elementary School and was a graduate of the Academy of the Sacred Heart of Mary in 1957, she also attended Marymount College in New York, NY.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; children, Kerry, TJ, Matt and Tara; grandchildren, Tom, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Kieran, Bridget, Owen, Erin and Colleen and siblings, Kathleen McCullough, Sheila Hazlett and Kevin Ryan.

Maureen will be remembered for always putting others before herself.  She preached The Golden Rule and more importantly she lived it every day of her life.  She possessed a strong faith in Christ, an unwavering work ethic, resilience and boundless amount of kindness and empathy towards other.  

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Thursday at St. Margaret R. C. Church, Pearl River.  Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Nanuet, NY. Visiting is Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
