Matthew Kroenung Obituary

Matthew V. Kroenung of Pearl River, NY died on July 28th, 2020. He was 49 years old. Matthew worked for their family painting business, Kroenung Painting.

Matthew was born on February 2, 1972 in Ridgewood, NJ to Robert Matthew and Jaqueline (Gardner), Kroenung. He was educated at Rockland Community College and SUNY Albany. He lived in Pearl River, NY for his entire life.

Matty will be remembered for his big heart, his infectious smile, laugh, and incredible sense of humor.

He is survived by daughter, Madison, sister, Kerriann Kroenung, Pearl River, NY, brother, Marc (Laura) Kroenung, Nanuet, NY, brother, Michael (Jessica) Kroenung, Blauvelt, NY, and his many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his father, Robert Matthew Kroenung (2006) and mother Jaqueline L. Gardner Kroenung (2017).

Burial service will be held on Monday, August 10th at 1PM at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.

Following the service the family would like to invite all family and friends to pay respects to Matty at the Pearl River Elks Club's outdoor pavilion from 3-8 PM.
