Matthew F Delgardio

Matthew F. Delgardio, 56 of Pearl River NY, passed away unexpectedly on September 5, 2022. Matthew was born in Brooklyn, New York to Ann and Anthony Delgardio. The family moved to Pearl River in 1978. Matthew graduated from Pearl River High School in 1984 and Rockland Community College. Matthew is survived by his mother Ann, sisters Bridget Beaty, Theresa Hayward (Robert), Helene, Ruth, and his brother Mark (Samantha) Delgardio. He will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews Justin, Kristina, Patrick, Robert, Samantha, Briana, Isabella, Mia, and Anthony. Matthew was predeceased by his father, Anthony Delgardio, in 2012.

Matty D., AKA the Commish, as he was known to his friends, enjoyed his fantasy football leagues, his movie collection, and cooking for his friends and family. He was one of the most thoughtful and genuine people, while still being honest and to the point. His generosity and selflessness will not be forgotten.

The wake and prayer service will take place at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home on Sunday, September 11, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to
