Mary (Maureen) Ginnane

Maureen Ginnane, 78, passed away on March 28, 2022 after a long battle with dementia. Maureen was in her home with her husband and children at the time she passed.
Maureen was born on April 8, 1943 to Margaret and Patrick Dunne in County Mayo, Ireland. At the age of 17 she emigrated to the United States. Maureen was an exceptional wife and mother that devoted her life to the family she loved so much. She cared deeply for her family in New York and Ireland. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. Maureen loved her family, taking care of her home, laughter, going to Ireland, people from all walks of life, and walking around Rockland Lake with her husband.
She is survived by a loving family; her husband of over 50 years Joe and four children, Patrick(Mary), Kevin, Joseph and Maureen (Jon), five grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters. Maureen is predeceased by her beloved son Gerard.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 1 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home in Pearl River, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, April 2 at St. Aedan’s Church, Pearl River, NY. Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery Nanuet, NY.
