Marion W Dobson

Marion W. Dobson Pearl River, NY – Marion W. Dobson, 92 of Pearl River, NY, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, October 17, 2025. Born on September 7, 1933, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of late Charles and Renata (Herget) Voltz. Marion married James P. Dobson on May 7, 1955, at St. Mary’s Gate of Heaven Church in Ozone Park, NY.  James predeceased her on September 9, 1992. Marion has been a long-time communicant at St. Margaret’s Church in Pearl River. Marion volunteered at St. Margaret’s School in the library, as class mother, and with boutique fundraisers. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her three children: James Dobson Jr. of Jupiter, FL, Christopher Dobson of Pearl River, NY, and Kevin Dobson of Pearl River, NY, and her five grandchildren: Maggie, Erin, Kaitlyn, Spencer, and William Dobson. Marion was predeceased by her three sisters, Ruth Voltz, Dorothy Agud, and Irene Carroll.

A mass will be offered at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at St. Margaret’s Church located in Pearl River, NY.

Memorial donations may be made in Marion’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
