Marie Ferdinand

Marie Ferdinand of Pearl River NY passed on February 18th, at her home of fifty years.

Marie was born in Germany and came to New York City, to work as an au pair, where she met her husband of forty years, Vincent Ferdinand.  Marie later became a proud American Citizen.  She worked at Lederle Labs for twenty years and was a caregiver to many thereafter and touched many lives.  Marie was very compassionate toward animals and children. 

Marie is survived by her son, Michael and wife, Stacey of Dingmans Ferry, PA and daughter, Debra Tucker and husband, Eddie of Pearl River; two grandchildren, Julieann and Matthew Ferdinand; her sisters, Erica, Wilma and Lisa, and brothers, Ludwick and Fernando, and last but not least she is predeceased by her husband, Vincent Ferdinand, who passed in 1999.

The funeral service will be held 10:00 am Friday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Pearl River.  Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.  Visiting is Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
