Marianne McGarvey

It is with great sadness that the family of Marianne McGarvey announce her passing on October 6, 2023 in New London, CT. She was 47 years old. Born on April 21, 1976 in Pearl River, NY, she attended St. Margaret's School in Pearl River and Albertus Magnus High School in Bardonia, where she graduated in 1994.

Marianne leaves behind her beloved daughters, Althea and Anjelica Hitchins, both of New London, CT. She is also survived by her father, Leonard McGarvey, sisters Diane (Walter) Strathy and Susan (Doug) Healy, brothers Brian (Joann) and Kevin (Donna) McGarvey, as well as six nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving partner, Michael Naphen.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Margaret's Church in Pearl River on Monday, December 4 at 10:00 a.m.
