Lucy Hansen

Lucy Hansen passed away on Nov. 26, 2019. She was born on July 11,1924 in Ramsey, NJ and lived there throughout her childhood. She was predeceased by her husband Fred, three sisters and one brother. She is survived by her daughter Jean and son-in-law Paul and her two grandchildren. Her extended family includes 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She lived for 35 years in Valley Cottage, NY then moving to Nanuet, NY and remaining there for 30 years. Her passion was sewing and she worked as a seamstress, sewing stage curtains for many years. She was always proud that her curtains were seen on the Johnny Carson Show in 1970. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. Her positive attitude toward life and laughter will always be remembered by her family. Memorial services will be private and under the direction of Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home. Donations may be made in her memory to United hospice of Rockland.
