Obituary
We are saddened to announce the passing of Louise Dongarra of Pearl River, NY, formerly of the Bronx, on Saturday, March 20, 2021 after a brief illness and the effects of dementia. Louise was born on July 21,1923 to Antonio and Elena Puzzio. She married the love of her life, Anthony Dongarra, on June 23,1948 at Immaculate Conception Church in the Bronx. She worked as an accounting clerk for Alexanders and then New York Hospital.
She is survived by her sons, Michael (Linda) and Thomas (Peghi) and her daughter, MaryEllen (Joseph). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christopher, Michael and Christina.
She was predeceased by her husband Anthony, her son Anthony and her grandson, Joseph Charles, Jr. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Visiting will be held Tuesday March 23,2021 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Wednesday at St. Aedan R.C. Church. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
