Kevin Murray

Kevin P. Murray of Yonkers, New York passed away on September 2, 2022. He was born on February 24, 1969, to John P. Murray (deceased) and Nora Murray. Kevin is survived by his daughter, Grace Nora Murray, his mother Nora Murray and his siblings, Dennis Murray (Linda), Margaret Flandera, Noreen Clerkin (Eugene), John P. Murray, Jr., and Pamela Hyland (John). Kevin’s sister Catherine Murray predeceased him. Kevin has five nephews, Christopher Murray (Lisa), Daniel Murray (Nicole), Michael Clerkin (Angelica), Paul Rosato (Marisa), and John Clerkin (Geanina). Kevin has three nieces, Christina Green (Billy), Nicole Dugan (John) and Megan Hyland. Kevin has four grand nephews, (Joey and Brody Murray, Conor Murray, and Liam Green); and six grandnieces (Gabriella Dugan, McKayla Murray, Madison Murray, Keira Green, Eliana Clerkin and Anastasia Clerkin).

Kevin was very intelligent and loved all fields of science, which led him to take up his occupation as a Cytogenetic technologist.  Kevin was very passionate about music and was self-taught on the guitar from an early age. He had a love for classic sports cars and was an amateur mechanic, building his lime green Plymouth Duster that many living in Yonkers would recognize. Kevin will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and genuine love for life. 

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home, 100 Franklin Avenue, Pearl River, NY  10965. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Aedan’s Church, 23 Red Drive, Pearl River, NY 10965. Burial will follow at Gesthemane Cemetery, Rockland Lake, New York.
