Kevin Curran

Kevin Anthony Curran, passed peacefully at home on June 4th 2023 after a tough battle with ALS. He was surrounded by close family and friends; Kevin was born in Waterville Co. Kerry Ireland on August 20th, 1961 to John and Mary Curran. Kevin is survived by his wife Karen, daughter Kasey and son Jamie Curran, his brothers John Joe (Sarah) Curran and Gerard (Deirdre) Curran, his brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, and many close friends. Kevin was full of life, happiness, and passion. Kevin moved to the USA in 1985 and settled in Woodside, New York where he met the love of his life Karen. They went on to have 2 children and move to Pearl River, NY in 1999. Once again settled in the small Irish Hamlet, Kevin made himself comfortable, hung out with friends built the life he only ever dreamed of. He embodied the true meaning of the American dream, fulfilling his lifelong dream of becoming an entrepreneur. Kevin’s dream of owning Hudson Skips fueled his passions and hobbies. Kevin was also an avid Hunter and enjoyed many trips with his son Jamie and friends to the Catskills NY during hunting season. Kevin loved to surround himself with his closest family and friends when he wasn’t working. He enjoyed the time he spent with all the lads, whether it was in Woodlawn, Manhattan, Woodside, or his living room on West Washington in Pearl River. Kevin embraced living life to the fullest, never backed down from a challenge and loved to help out others. This world feels a little lonelier without Kevin in it, we can only hope to live life exactly as he would have.
