Kenneth George Elmendorf, age 58, a longtime friend and resident of the Pearl River community, died of COPD on August 31st 2022 at his home. Mr. Elmendorf worked as a Set Dresser for the Local 52 Motion Picture Studio in Queens for 12 years. He worked on many hit shows such as Billions, The Following, and Gossip Girl before his untimely passing. Kenneth was born on April 26th, 1964 at the Good Samaritan hospital in Suffern, NY to Richard and Elizabeth Elmendorf. In 1998 he married his wife Kathleen and is succeeded by his three children, Victoria, Travis and Jake. He lived in Pearl River his entire life, graduating from Pearl River High School in 1982 before going on to complete Audio Visual Schooling at Institute of Audio Research in New York City. He was a great man to friends and family who was known for being the life of the party and with his infectious enthusiasm was putting a smile on everyone’s face. He was a privilege to know and his fun-loving, caring nature will be missed by all who knew him.
