Katie Carinci

Katie J. Carinci, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother peacefully passed away at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence on Monday, January 19, 2026.  She was 95 years old.  

Katie was born on July 31, 1930 in Mt. Vernon, NY to Joseph & Antoinette (Galgano) Marra.  Katie joins her husband, Salvatore in Heaven.  She is survived by her daughters Donna & Barbara, son-in-laws, Steve & Louis, her grand-daughters Karen & Allison, her grand-son-in-law John and her great granddaughters Isabella & Ava.  She is also survived by her brother, Fred Marra and nephews Robert & Donald.  

Katie will be remembered as an independent person who loved being around people.  She was a strong, resilient woman who fought her cancer to the very end.  She was an avid Bingo player who also enjoyed reading and crocheting.  Many babies enjoyed the beautiful blankets she crocheted for them. 

Katie will be waked on Friday, January 23rd from 9-11 am.  A private burial will take place directly following at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Nanuet, NY.
