Kathleen Brosnan

Kathleen Brosnan of Pearl River, NY passed away on Wednesday, December 22,2021 at The Joe Raso Residence, New City. She was 101 years old.

Kathleen Brosnan was born on November 18,1920 in County Kerry, Ireland to Seamus and Ellie O'Connor. 
She is survived by her 2 children, Patrick Brosnan and Noreen McMullen; four grandchildren: Kacey, Jaime, Patrick and Amanda and two great-grandchildren: Caroline
Grace, and Charlotte Kathleen.
Kathleen grew up in County Kerry, Ireland with her siblings, brothers Mickey,John and Jim and sister Esther.  Kathleen emigrated to the United States in 1948. She met her husband John Brosnan at a dance in the Bronx and were later married April 19, 1953. She moved from the Bronx to Pearl River, NY to live with her son Patrick and daughter-in-law Kathy for many years after.
Kathleen was a parishioner of St. Aedan R.C. Church and enjoyed giving back to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
Kathleen was known as a self described 5 and 7 card rummy champ. And, an outstanding Bingo player for many years. Kathleen was proudly featured on a Smuckers Jam Jars series on the Today Show for her 100th Birthday with Al Roker!
Kathleen will be known for many things, including her kindness, generosity, faith, sense of humor, wit, incredible memory, storytelling abilities, Irish cooking and love for her
family.
Kathleen is predeceased by her son John Brosnan and her husband John Brosnan.
Visiting will be Wednesday from 4-7 at Wyman Fisher Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on December 30th at 10:00 am at St. Aedan R.C. Church.
Burial will be at the Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne ,NY.

In lieu of flowers friends are asked to make a donation to Joe Raso Hospice in Kathleen's name.
