Judith Jakobsen

Judith Jakobsen of Nanuet, NY formerly of Pearl River, NY passed away on April 29, 2022.  She was 85. 

She was born September 1, 1936 in Norway to Jon Evje and Sigfriede Sakkestad.  She worked for MRC in Pearl River, NY before retiring in 2002.

Locally, she was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Sons of Norway and was an active member in the Seton Village Community.

Judith will be remembered as a loving mother, grand mother and friend. 

She is survived by her three daughters, Lise Rich (Tom), Elizabeth Cruz (Jose) and Cindy DeMane.  She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Michael and Jack DeMane, Madison, Mason and Matthew Cruz and Erik and Hayley Rich and her extended family in Norway. Judith is predeceased by her husband Helge (12-15-1999).   

Memorial visiting will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.  A memorial service will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Frederick Loescher Veteran Cemetery.
