Josephine Doriguzzi

Josephine (Peppy) Doriguzzi, a lifelong resident of Pearl River, NY passed away surrounded by her family, on Saturday, July 22, 2023. She was 86.

Peppy was born July 10, 1937, in New York City to Carlos and Javiera (nee Santos) Ortiz. She was a graduate of Pearl River High School in 1955. Peppy retired from Mercedes Benz where she worked for over 20 years. She also enjoyed socializing with her many friends, her trips to Puerto Rico, and the company of her family.

Peppy is loved and survived by her four children, Tamara and husband, Anthony Alfieri, CaraSue and husband, Rick Sparks, Jodi and husband, Michael Boland and Robert Tate and long-term girlfriend, Donna; five grandchildren, Risa, Alannah, Meredith, Sarah and husband, Rob, and Michael Jr; two great grandchildren, Robby, and Franklin; and her sister, Carmen.  Peppy is survived by many more family and friends.

Peppy is predeceased by her loving and devoted husband Mario Peter, her grandson, Rio; her sister, Delia McDonald and parents, Carlos and Javiera Ortiz.

Visiting is Friday, July 28, 2023, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. Prayers will be said at 8:30 PM.
