Joseph Brancatelli Jr. Obituary

Joseph Anthony Brancatelli, Jr. passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born on December 10, 1965 in Suffern, NY, he was the beloved son of Joseph Anthony Brancatelli, Sr. and Mary Brancatelli. From an early age he carried a quiet strength, a generous spirit, and a deep appreciation for the people that filled his life with meaning.

Joseph grew up in Pear River, NY attending St. Margaret’s School and later graduating from Albertus Magnus High School. Joseph graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and was a proud member of the Sigma Pi Fraternity. During his years there he formed lifelong friendships and began building the foundation for a life defined by integrity, kindness, dedication, and faith. Twenty-five years ago, he met the love of his life Laura Healy, and together they shared a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Their bond was one of deep devotion, love, and partnership.

Joseph enjoyed the simple things in life, guided always by the profound love he had for his family and friends. Those who knew him will remember him for his kind heart, sense of humor, and the way he made others feel welcomed and valued. He found joy in playing sports, playing guitar, swimming, going to the golf range, a game of chess, a walk in the park with his dog Daxter, attending sports events, and traveling. His love for the NY Yankees and the NY Giants was endless.

He is survived by his fiancé Laura Healy and his siblings Salvatore Brancatelli (Maryanne), Mary Jo Brancatelli-Aman (Rick), and Barbara Ficarra (John). He was a devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

Though Joseph is no longer with us, the love he gave and the lives he touched will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. “Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.”
