Obituary

John, (Jack), beloved husband of Peggy passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at his home in Ramsey, New Jersey.

Jack was born in Manhattan on December 14, 1932 and attended All Hallows High School and Iona College. After college he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany at the end of the Korean War. He worked for Western Union for many years until his retirement in 1988.

Jack is survived by his wife Peggy, his brother Bob (Eileen), his sister Joan (Jack) Nelson, sisters- in-law Joan Burke, Mary Kay Burke, Eileen Burke, and many nieces and nephews.

Jack will always be remembered as a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend to many. He will be greatly missed!

A Mass of Christian burial, 10:00 AM Monday, March 9, 2020 at Church of the Presentation, Upper Saddle River, NJ. Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Nanuet, NY. Visiting is Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
