James O'Donnell

James O’Donnell of Templeglantine, Co. Limerick and most recently Pearl River, NY passed away on March 9, 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by his family.  Jim lived in the Bronx for fifty plus years and split his retirement between Limerick, Ireland and Flagler Beach Florida.

Jim will be remembered for his commitment to his family and friends and his many years of service to the GAA and Kerry Football Club. He retired from management at Stop and Shop in Bronx, NY after a 40-year career.

He is survived by his wife,Theresa of 54 years, his three children, daughter, Kathy (Damien), sons, Timmy (Kara) and Kevin.  His four adored grandchildren, Lauren, Griffin, Olivia and Emma.  His brothers, Jackie (Maura), Larry (Judy), and Tom. His sisters, Bridget (James), Anne, Mary and Sr. Christine. He was gifted with many nieces and nephews. With many dear friends in New York, Ireland and Florida.  Jim was predeceased by his brother, Timmy, sister Eileen, niece Miriam and In-Laws, Tim Kelly and Patricia O’Donnell.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Monday March 15, 2021 at St. Aedan R. C. Church, Pearl River, NY.  Burial will follow at Rockland Cemetery.  Visiting is Sunday March 14, 2021 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
