James Conte Obituary

James Conte of Tappan, NY passed away peacefully at home on Monday
April 20, 2020 after a courageous year long battle, surrounded by his
family . He was 80.
Jim’s last entrepreneurship was owner and operator of Jim’s Auto Care for
over Thirty years in Newburgh NY.
Jim was born February 8, 1940 in Yonkers, NY to Michael and Rose
(Buccolo) Conte.
He is survived by his loving wife of over Fifty years Linda ( née Jazzo ) his
daughter Kimberly ( Patrick) Lunney of Blauvelt NY, and his son James of
Tappan NY, His brother Danny (Jayne) of Blauvelt NY, as well as many
nieces and nephews. He was the cherished Grandfather to Kayla, Patrick,
and Michael.
James was predeceased by his parents, his two brothers Michael and
Robert and his sister Janet.
A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at a later date.
