Goldie Pearl (Clark) Payea

Goldie Pearl Payea (née Clark), loving wife and beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the age of 97. From Pittsford Mills, VT, to Hell’s Kitchen, to Nanuet, NY, with many stops in between, Goldie spread her light, wisdom, and warmth wherever she went. Goldie is predeceased by the love of her life, Robert F. Payea Sr.  She was a mother and “Grandma Goldie” to many beyond her own. Goldie leaves behind a legacy of love and generosity with her children Richard (Mary), Leo (Darleen), Robert Jr. (Pat), Timothy (Maryann), Gregory, Maryann Ritzel (Keith), Nancy Bonner (Jim), her daughter-in-law Paula and is predeceased by her sons Lawrence and Bruce.  She was close to each of her loving grandchildren: Denise, Shannon, Jennifer, Michelle, Dawn, Tracy, Bonnie, Victoria, Gregory Jr., Robert III, Christopher, Jenny, Karen, Melissa, Michael, Jessica, Katie, and her granddaughter Kelly Mazzarella who is with her in Heaven. She was Great Grandma Goldie to her 33 precious great grandchildren and a beloved aunt and friend to many more. 

Goldie is predeceased by her parents Alvah and Nellie (Flood) Clark, and siblings Phyllis Hynes, Buddy Clark and Alvin Clark.  

Visiting will be held Wednesday February  2, 2022 from 4 PM to 7 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
