Gloria Pasquale
November 18, 1937 – January 30, 2025
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Gloria Lucy (Laudadio) Pasquale, who departed this life on January 30, 2025, at the age of 87. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Gloria’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering love left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Born on November 18, 1937, to the late Giuseppe and Lucia (Joseph and Lucy) Laudadio, Gloria lived a life full of grace, devotion, and generosity. She attended Yonkers Public Schools and later studied computer programming. On September 8, 1957, she married her beloved husband, Gabriel (Gabe) Antonio Pasquale, at Mt. Carmel Church in Yonkers, NY. Together, they shared 53 blessed years of marriage until his passing on July 27, 2010.
Gloria and Gabe built a loving home, residing in Nanuet, NY where they raised their family, in retirement they moved to, New Port Richey, FL, and later to Cedar Crest, Pompton Plains, NJ. She is survived by her devoted children, who will continue to honor her legacy of kindness and resilience: Laureen (Eric) Meyers of Victorville, CA, Carol (John) Pasquale of Pompton Lakes, NJ, and Gabe (Jean) Pasquale of Blauvelt, NY. She was a cherished grandmother to Heather Lackey-Hallliday, Nicholas Moullette, Natalie Moullette, Gianna Pasquale, and Gabriel Pasquale, and a proud great-grandmother to Xzavior and predeceased Shilynne.
Gloria was the dear sister of Helen Sergio (98) of Bethpage, NY and was preceded in death by her beloved siblings, Mary B. Jotso, Theresa Pisacreta, Josephine Occhiogrosso, Elizabeth Scuderi, and Salvatore Laudadio, who welcomed her with open arms into eternal rest.
She was a pillar of strength for her family and a source of wisdom and comfort to those fortunate enough to call her a friend. Her devout faith, boundless love, and compassionate spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Her love was a gift her memory a treasure, and her presence a blessing that will live on in our hearts forever.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Gloria’s memory to the Parkinson’s Foundation, in honor of her giving nature.
Visiting hours are Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 3 -7 pm at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home, 100 Franklin Avenue, Pearl River, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 10 am at St. Catharine’s RC Church, Blauvelt, NY with a graveside burial to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
