Gary F Vetter

Gary F. Vetter passed away on Sunday August 28th, 2022. He was born in Suffern, New York January 23, 1946. He graduated from Spring Valley High school in 1964. Gary married his beautiful wife Diane in 1967 and welcomed their only son Gary Jr.  in 1980. He was a member and former chief of the South Spring Valley Fire Department for many years, an avid hunter, fisherman and collector of antique Farmall tractors. Gary worked at Dexter Folder Company, was a proud member of the carpenters union and ended his working career at LeCroy/Teldyne. He was survived by his beloved wife Diane, his son Gary Jr. , daughter-in-law Jessica, grandson Rhett, siblings William and Helene and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by parents Frank and Marie. Services will be held at Wyman Fisher Funeral home in Pearl River, NY with visitation on Thursday September 8 from 4-8 and a memorial Friday at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering.
