Eileen T Fata of Crawford NY, formerly of Washingtonville, passed away October 18, 2025
Eileen was born in Manhattan, NY, and grew up in Washingtonville. Eileen was a compassionate woman, she was the co-founder of Renwick Recovery, an OASAS-Certified Reintegration Program, located n the City of Newburgh, NY. Through her work, she made a positive impact on countless lives, helping others find hope and direction. Eileen earned a Bachelors degree from the Westchester Business Institute.
Eileen was known for her generosity and heart. She was goal oriented and dedicated mother and wife, Eileen, facing a crisis situation when her husband Domenick was diagnosed with stage four tonsil cancer. Eileen mobilized into action each morning, the kids were placed on the bus, and then she drove her husband Domenick to Memorial Sloan Cancer Center in Manhattan for treatments, while working at Renwick Recovery and meeting all her responsibilities with care, compassion and strength.
She is survived by her loving husband, Domenick Fata and her beloved son Nicholas Fata. She also leaves behind her sisters, Mary Ryan and her partner Julie Yewchuck, and Catherine Egenes and her husband Glenn; her brothers, Joseph Ryan Jr. and his partner Michelle Towle, James Ryan and his partner Colleen Massari, and John Ryan and his wife Kara. She also leaves behind her in-laws, Peter and his wife Linda Fata, Eugenio DePasquale. Eileen also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Eileen was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary Ryan, her stepdaughter, Dominique Fata, and her in-laws, Ettore and Rosaria Fata
Eileen will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and all of those whose lives she touched through her kindness, strength, and unwavering dedication.
