Eileen N. Duignan (Corsa) of Chestnut Ridge, NY passed away in her home at Spring Hills Assisted Living on March 3, 2022 surrounded by her family. Born in the Bronx on May 11, 1937, Eileen spent most of her life in Rockland County, NY with her late husband, former NYPD detective Michael Duignan, who passed away in 2015. Eileen was the loving mother of four children Annemarie, Eileen, Michael, and Matthew and welcomed into her family over the years daughters in law Eileen and Alise, her sons in law Vinny and Stephen, seven grandchildren - Vincent (wife Dayna), Nicole (husband Anthony), Justin, Jeri, Molly, Kelly, Michael, and one great grandchild, Gianna. Eileen is survived by her sisters Suzann and Kathleen, brother in law Patrick, cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Eileen enjoyed and was an expert in sewing, knitting, quilting and crocheting. She loved black and white cookies, fashion, and her dog Jax, but more than anything, Eileen loved spending time with her family. Eileen will be remembered for her generosity, her sassy personality, her famous apple pies, and her ability to make anyone around her laugh. Her legacy will live on through generations in the family she helped to create.
